Outdoor Play and Learning - Training for Childcare Practitioners.
Training will cover:
- Practical experience of outdoor activities and games.
- Looking at risk and how to manage it in the outdoors.
- Creative thinking.
- Use of natural and readily obtainable resources.
- Problem solving activities.
Activities will vary dependant on the venue, and course content may be tailored to match group composition.
Participants should bring suitable clothing and footwear for outdoors.

A course for parents/carers
Training will cover:
- How to help your child get the most from outdoor play
- Your role when supervising
- Practical experience of outdoor activities and games
- Looking at a child’s learning from outdoor play activities
- Risk and how to manage it in the outdoors
- Protecting yourself and your child from the weather
Participants should bring suitable clothing and footwear for outdoors.
